SymSure
Monitor Version 3
Released in the second quarter of 2008,the
most fundamental change in SymSure™ Monitor is in the implementation of
a
Service Oriented Architecture. The change allows SymSure™
Monitor to
provide the framework for endless enterprise
integration. Customers will
be able to integrate the Monitor within existing Web infrastructure and
other
enterprise solutions such as SharePoint.
There
is a separation of the end-user interfaces and the administration of
SymSure™
Monitor. This lends itself to a much simpler interface for the
end-users
and allows for more advanced controls for administrators.
There will be
three interfaces:
SymSure™ Enterprise
Server Console The
Enterprise Server Console allows for the administration of the
infrastructure and the Business Processes. SMS configuration and
scheduling of events will be handled in this interface.
SymSure™ Expert
Client The
Expert Client is a Windows Based client with several dashboards to
navigate
results across business processes, reports, users, etc. The dashboard
functionalities will be explored in a future news release.
SymSure™ Basic
Client The
Basic Client is a Web-based interface with results for the specific
user. This interface simplifies the user experience and focuses on
getting issues
resolved.
All clients may be deployed with a message
centre that
will pop-up when new alerts are sent to the user. User experience is
enhanced
with these new changes.
SymSure
Monitor Version 3.1 New Release!
Released on 23 February 2009, SymSyre Monitor Version 3.1 includes serveral major improvements such as:
Concurrent support for both SymSure and Active Directory (LDAP) users
Simplified security and permission interfaces for user and group management
Summary and Detail report linking for drill down capability
A new web client with improved look and feel
Improved dashboard functionality including the ability to revisit closed items
The precise management of data files for installations that use data extracts
Hands-Off client deployments through web servers and network shares
A new installation approach that intelligently manages the upgrade process
